KATE ABBE
Owner, Legal and Communications Counsel
Kate manages the "back of house" legal and communications operations, providing counsel on various matters to the Company. Prior to her career as an attorney, Kate was a representative for a seed brand, working with retailers across southern Wisconsin, and growing up on a cow-calf beef operation, she calls the ag industry her home. In conjunction with the work of AC Agronomy, she seeks out opportunities to support and assist farmers in the various capacities that arise.
OUR FOREVER TEAMMATE BOB COOK
AC AGRONOMY was first conceived by Andy and Bob in 2019. Bob was a seasoned veteran in the ag industry, with over 30 years of experience. Bob owned and operated Millard Feed Mill and Agroliance Fertilizer and Chemical Co. in Elkhorn, WI for over 25 years, serving farmers in the greater Walworth County area. He was a life-long dedicated member of the ag community, running several agricultural enterprises, farming over 300 acres, and getting involved with everything from industry groups to the county fair.
In the fall of 2019, Andy and Bob decided to take a risk and start AC (Abbe Cook) Agronomy, knowing they could do better for farmers in Wisconsin. They planned to take on the big companies with hard work, chancy bargaining, and sheer grit. They were two buccaneers stirring up trouble and rocking the competitive landscape. From all-night fertilizer hauls to questionable equipment finds across state lines, they soldiered through the first season together. Bob was a teacher, mentor, and a dear, dear friend. He will always be part of the AC Agronomy legacy and family.
